Description
A die is a specialized tool used to cut or shape materials mostly using a stamping press. Die stamping is a process of placing flat sheet metal in either coil or blank form into a stamping press where a die surface forms the metal into a net shape.
Our custom die machining process is generally carried out on sheet metal. This process is generally classified into one-station die stamping and progressive die stamping. One-station die stamping manufactures dies in one station of the die through punching, coining and bending. Progressive die stamping manufactures dies through an automatic feeding system in all the stations of the die. Each station carries out one or more operation until a finished component is fabricated. Progressive die stamping is well-suited to mass production of stamped parts and metals requiring complicated shapes.
Stamping Capability
We are ready for any project, whether it is forming a prototype, a short-run production or a large capacity production. We are capable of stamping aluminum, stainless, brass, steel and most of other sheet metals. Our variety of high capacity multi-ton presses, metal forming machines and large on-site metal inventory make short order of even the most complex projects.
Advantages
With decade’s years of experience, we have accumulated precious know-how for sheet metal stamping. Besides, despite custom die stamping, we are also capable of supplying dies with mass quantity to our customers.
